This past week marks a highly significant event for the Indian diaspora living in Australia, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi from India has visited for the first time in almost 10 years. Culminating in a special event described by many as half rock concert and half political rally, taking place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Tuesday night, Narendra Modi dazzled and excited the local Indian population, with a whopping 20,000+ turnout.
It is our honour and pleasure to announce our collaboration in this event, as Gaura Travel,
working with Qantas and IADF (the Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation), chartered a special flight from Melbourne to Sydney for over 170 passengers wishing to see Modi.
Watch our video here and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the festivities, packed with music, dancing and celebration, as passengers ranging from government officials to students and families gathered to share the excitement of meeting Prime Minister Modi.
It was truly the highest honour to take part in such a significant cultural event for all Indians living in Australia, and we give a warm thank you to Prime Minister Modi for visiting Australia and providing the Indian diaspora with unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
