Blood Donation Drive by GNFKS

September 18, 2014

GNFKS (Guru Nanak Free Kitchennete Sydney) successfully organized a Blood Donation Drive on 23rd of August, 2014 at Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Rosehill. This is another regular annual event of this organization where it believes that Blood donation is one of the most precious donations in one’s life. The blood we donate gives another chance of life as we need blood every minute, every day of the year.

The blood drive was coordinated by Ms. Lucky Singh and her team members of GNFKS that proved to be a very successful one. It saw an active participation from lots of community members and got an overwhelming response. 26 blood donors have participated in the camp and made this unique event a grand success by donating the precious gift of life for this noble cause.

Ms. Lucky Singh appreciated the members for taking up such a noble initiative and congratulated the team for their efforts. She said, “The most important tool for success, is the BELIEF that you can succeed." She thanked all those who have instilled a "BELIEF" in the GNFKS and its charitable work.

The finest gesture came from our sponsors Rajwant Singh from Veg delight, Pankaj Vij from Oporto at Clarence Street, Sydney, Rajwant Kaur from Bivianos an Italian Restaurant, Santokh Singh Minhas from Grace of India and RubanSohana from Cheap & Fresh Online store who provided free food vouchers for each donor. Their contributions, small and large have given a message to our community that they are IMPORTANT, VALUED, and CARED for.

GNFKS thanks sponsors, volunteers and members specially Balbir Singh, Amar Singh Fully Sikh) RubanSohana, GaganBindraKamini Raj SinghAnjanaRegmiVinod EletePreetSargamGeetSargamPaul McKenziePeter McKenzie, Renu Kaur, Guneeta Kaur, VaibhavRastogiAjay Bajaj, GaganBindra, Harvinder SinghHarmeet S Hora, Harjeet Singh, Harvinder Kaur, Tanis Kochar, PardeepSharma, HanishAttri, PrathiushaElete, Vinod Elete, and Amarjeet Singh and the youngest volunteer Jasmeen Kaur for their very kind and unconditional support to make it a satisfying and successful event.
