Dr Katrin Sjoquist: background
Katrin Sjoquist is a Medical Oncologist and clinical researcher with particular interests in design and management of Phase II and III clinical trials, evidence-based medicine, gastro-intestinal and gynaecological cancers, and evaluating benefits versus harms of treatment.
She is Senior Research Fellow at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at Sydney Medical School and Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and staff specialist at St George and Sutherland Hospitals.
As Clinical Lead and member of the AGITG Scientific Advisory Committee, she is actively involved in AGITG trials including the recent INTEGRATE (for Advanced Oesophago-Gastric Cancer).
Dr Sjoquisthas authored articles in leading research journals and presented at international conferences. She is speaking at the Engage Community Forum in Sydney on April 30 on “Latest Advancements in Research and Treatment”.
