Nicely packaged by the education system with multiple degrees, I was a brown paper amongst all other brown papers.
Following suit, a safe & secure job was the evident choice and I did pick it up.

I slowly started getting the answers…. I started seeing life with a different lens.
Of course, there was something special about me 🙂
As I looked back in life, I started seeing the glimpses of a different “Shilpa”- the one I hadn’t noticed till now.
This Shilpa:
-had chosen to work on what she loved till the last day of her pregnancy (until 5 pm) & happily gave birth to her baby at 9 pm
-stood against all odds not to be a typical daughter-in-law & owned her place as a beloved daughter of the house
-walked into an interview with her baby and got the job on spot with a top consultancy
-said goodbye to her corporate career to listen to her inner voice & to build a dream
All these instances lined up to say that I had shown traits of “unreasonableness” every now and then. The rules of this society never appealed to me.
Knowing my strength, in the next 3 years, I TOOK THIS “UNREASONABLENESS” TO DIFFERENT HEIGHTS!
-I finished writing my book “Play IT Full” with my partner in flat 5 days. The book went on to become a bestseller & got out of stock in just a few hours
-As a coach, enabled hundreds of professionals across 15 countries discover their passion, make successful career transitions, get salary jumps with more than 100% money, open successful businesses, turnaround families, transform relationships- all geared towards creating euphoric careers and life
-As a result of the impact created, received multiple awards, was named 100 most inspiring women across the globe by Hera, South Africa and was featured in Forbes, FOX, CBS, multiple TV and radio shows, podcasts and global magazines
-As an entrepreneur, surpassed my corporate income in 10 months and in 1.5 years, I was making 5 times my corporate salary
-And got the honor to share my story on the prestigious TEDx stage
My “unreasonableness” changed the story of my life.
And while I am still adding joy to my chapters ahead…I am helping people around create their powerful stories!
Sometimes we hardly realize what we do today will feed into our story for tomorrow.
