New things are being experimented in Indian Cinema day by day. Where Commercial cinema brings entertainment to people,on the other hand parallel cinema also gets its own share of popularity. Directors and Producers of the commercial cinema are bit scared of experiments and showing the cultural values as lot of money is on stake, on the other front parallel cinema fulfils this gap and bring meaningful movies to the audience. As lot of such movies never reach big 70mm screens, the only way to get these movies to the audience is through special screenings. The film festivals such as ‘ausindfest’that held in Sydney, plays an important role to connect audience to parallel cinema.
