Interfaith Conference was organized on , Nov 12, 2014 at the Parliament House of NSW, one of the oldest Parliament House of Australia. Councilor Raj Datta and Deepavali Committee of NSW are the Driving force behind 3rd Interfaith Conference. The Objective of the interfaith conference is to promote mutual respect, social cohesion, multiculturalism and values pertaining to Australia’s ‘Unity in Diversity’. Though there is diversity but we all belong to one human race and we are the branches, twigs and leaves of the same tree. As said by one of the speakers that Australia has the best of all the cultures and religions, because people have migrated from different countries and they have brought the best from each country. The evening was attended by representatives of different religious and community organizations along with the Parliamentarians. There was multicultural performances by dancers and singers of different countries.
It is rightly said that the fragrance of the flower spreads in the direction of the wind but the goodness of the person spreads in all direction.
