The seventh edition of International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Adelaide, South Australia, on Saturday, 201 June 2021 by diverse communities at North Adela ide Community Centre. Event organised by Art of Living, South Australia, on behalf of Consul General of India, Sydney.
Hon. Russell Wortley, MLC (Labor Party), expressed his views on Yoga and its contributions to society. Hon. Dana Wortley, MP (Member for Torrens, Labor Party), was also present for the celebrations and shared her thoughts on Yoga.
The full-house event was blessed by the gracious presence of various respected community members representing: City of West Torrens, Haryanvi Kunba, Jaat Maha Shabha, Sai Baba Sansthan, Shruthi Australia, AALAP, IACF – Indian Australian Community Foundation Jai Durga Sankeertan Mandal, Shree Ram Sharnam, and Hindu Council of Australia along with mainstream and ethnic media.
