
An evening ofglamour, bling and Bollywood and that too-truly Aussie style!
The Telstra Red Carpet Bollywood Wednesdays VIP event, held at the Event Cinemas, Burwood, NSW showcased Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan’s romantic-comedy film, Shaadi Ke Side Effects to a full house on 5th March 2014.
The Glitzy event was Telstra’s way of showing gratitude to itsloyal customers, by offering them $10 tickets to Bollywood films available every Wednesday at Telstra’s partner cinemas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
To launch this exciting offer, Telstra with support from Multiconnexions organized a red carpet welcome for the Whos Who of N.S.W, leaders from all walks of life, media personnel and the competition winners who won tickets to the gala event through several competitions conducted via social media, radio stations and Indian publications across Sydney and Melbourne.

The invitees were welcomed with traditional Indian flower shower, drinks, snacks and sweet treats followed by choc top and a sure thing to eat whilst watching a film-popcorn!
The lucky door prizes had the audience keeping their fingers crossed! They included $100 worth of tea from T2, a Gold Class double pass and a Moonlight Cinema double pass.
Another highlight was a wonderfully choreographed dance performance by Shiamak Dabar’s Dance Team (Sydney) totally committed to promoting Shiamak’s philosophy of ‘Have Feet. Will Dance.’
