When touting the benefits of big data and other advanced analytics solutions, many of the technology’s proponents tend to focus on its capacity to find new customers to further drive revenue. However, this view of analytics is a bit shortsighted, as it only concerns itself with a single aspect of the business-consumer relationship dynamic. It’s not enough to bring new consumers into the fold; business leaders need to make sure that they stay committed and loyal to the brand. With consumer attrition a constant concern for numerous industries, employing customer analytics to bolster engagement efforts is a must.
Serves 2
- 240ml good-quality fresh plain yoghurt
- 200ml water
- 3 tbsp sugar, or to taste
- 2–3 tsp lemon juice, or to taste
- Fine zest of 1 ½ small lemons
- Ice cubes, to serve
- 2 sprigs of fresh mint
This lassi is really refreshing and the fragrance of the lemon zest is pure summer. Good quality, fresh yoghurt will stop this drink being too tart. I love it – it is better than lemonade and lighter than a milkshake or smoothie. Perfect for a healthy, outdoor life.
Blend together the yoghurt, water, sugar, lemon juice and zest until light and frothy. Adjust the sugar and lemon to taste. Pour into tall glasses filled with ice cubes and the mint and serve
