A man has been charged with multiple fraud offences after allegedly using stolen credit cards in the greater Sydney Metropolitan area.
About 10.20am yesterday (Tuesday 24 February 2015), following investigations, police attended a home on Chiswick Road, Greenacre where they arrested a 36-year-old man.
Following his arrest, investigators from Burwood Local Area Command executed a search at warrant the home where they found tampered mail, stolen credit cards, and other items.
The items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.
The man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with 43 fraud offences.
Police will allege that the man used stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases in excess of $30,000 across the greater Sydney Metropolitan area.
He has been refused bail and will appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
