Man shot multiple times in shooting incident

Police are appealing for information after a man was shot multiple times in Sydney’s south-west overnight.

Around 9.40pm (Sunday 22 February, 2015) emergency services were called to Brindabella Drive, Horningsea Park.

Police have been told a man drove to the home and knocked on the front door. A resident answered and the offender spoke to the man before shooting and fleeing the area.

Ambulance Paramedics attended and assistance the man who had been hit in the arm, stomach and buttocks. He was taken to hospital and is currently in a stable condition.

Initial investigations by police indicate the incident is targeted and the injured man has OMCG links.
