Watched "Mary Kom" … 3.5 out 5 … I loved it … Theatre Watch … Technically all Good … Proud on Bollywood 4 investing in sports and sportsman struggle & hardship stories … Every Indian who always complain about Indian sports should watch and youth for sure " read wiki before you go to movie.
Movie in one line … It’s a Biopic of women boxer "Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom from Manipur .Movie reflects the struggle and hardships she went through to become a world champion. Priyanka Chopra played the role of five-time World professional Boxing champion Mary Kom in the film".
Box office collection gave other production houses to work on other sports people stories to motivate and to put positive confidence within Indian youth .Big Credit goes to director “Omung Kumar" vision and portraying sportsman struggle and hardships in India and future throughout every scene of movie .Great camera work and cinematography played a big role into success of this movie.
Audience will not find catchy dance numbers but will impress with background score forsure.
Before Mary Kom, Bollywood did get success in producing “Chak de India” and “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”.
Truly Remarkable performance by Priyanka Chopra, Darshan Kumar and Sunil Thapa.
The movie also shows the troubles of sports stars in the country, regardless of winning medals and feels country proud, face poor behaviour from sports officials.
It’s not a bollywood masala entertainer but do have good story line where audience would love to stick onto their seats and keep watching till movie ends. It’s worth watching in theatre.
