In preparation for the highly competitive U19s Cricket World Cup, hosted in Sri Lanka in 2024, a group of talented and potential future stars of Australian Cricket represented the U19s Australian Team in a Tour of England this year. With a total of 5 ODIs and 2 Tests, the Australian team finished the ODI series with a 3-1 lead, and a 1-0 lead in Tests.

Alongside a successful campaign for the 19s boys, two major success stories have inspired our South Asian community, as two boys of Indian ethnicity,

Harjas Singh (NSW) left-handed batter has scripted an inspirational story that would motivate several others like him. For Singh, it was not an easy journey though but he made it possible with an iron determination and strong cricketing skills and at the other hand Harkirat Bajwa (VIC), is a highly touted spinner

who has a knack of taking wickets, having represented Australia as a bottom-ager at the Under-19 World Cup last year. They both had the privilege to represent the U19s Australian squad and performed significantly for the touring side, and have inspired our community, reminding us that anything is truly possible.
We are very proud of their achievements, and wish them a bright future.
