Police appeal for information after man suffers gun-shot wound – Auburn

A man has presented himself to hospital with a gun-shot wound in Auburn overnight.

Just after midnight (Monday 4 May 2015), police were called to Auburn Hospital after a man walked into emergency suffering an injury to his left shoulder.

When hospital staff saw it was an injury from a projectile, police were called.

The 23-year-old Granville man has told police he was walking by himself along Harrow Road, Auburn when he was hit by the projectile in the shoulder.

He ran to nearby Auburn Hospital for treatment.

Police have yet to establish a crime scene and are appealing for anyone with any information that could assist investigators to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
