Police investigate home invasion – South Granville

Police are appealing for information following an alleged home invasion in South Granville yesterday evening.

About 10.15pm (Tuesday 2 June 2015), two men, aged 32 and 58, and a 54-year-old woman, were in their home on Boronia Street when they heard a knock at the front door.

When the older man went to investigate, he was confronted by a man and woman armed with knives who pushed their way inside the home.

The pair threatened the younger man and demanded money.

The intruders rummaged through property and left the location a short time later with cash.

They were last seen running east on Boronia Street.

The younger man sustained minor lacerations to his hand during the incident.
