Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a service station in Liverpool last month.
About 10.45pm (Monday 16 February 2015) a 24-year-old man was working at the counter of the service station on Elizabeth Drive, when a man with his face covered entered the store carrying a pistol.
The man threatened the attendant and a customer, demanding money. The attendant complied handing over cash and was not injured during the incident.
The man was last seen running from the shop towards Elizabeth Drive.
Police from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit are investigating the incident and have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being 180 – 185cm tall, with a solid build. He is shown in the image wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants, black face covering, and black shoes.
Investigators are following a number of lines of inquiry, including whether the robbery is linked with a robbery at a service station on Parramatta Road, Haberfield, four days earlier.
