Police renew appeal following assault – Sydney City

Sydney City police are renewing their appeal for information into the assault of a man which occurred in the city last year.

Police have re-released CCTV still images of two men they believe can assist with inquiries into the assault of another man which occurred in the city last year.

About 10pm on Friday 14 November 2014, a 28-year-old man was walking along Sussex Street when he became involved in an altercation with two men.

One of these men has punched the 28-year-old man in the face who fell to the ground.

The 28-year-old man was assaulted again and lost consciousness.

The victim later reported the matter to Sydney City police who launched an investigation into the incident.

Officers have now released CCTV images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

One man is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a solid build and short hair. He had a full beard and moustache and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants at the time.

The other man is described as having short hair, and is wearing a collared shirt at the time.
