Police have charged a teenage boy over $30,000 worth of damage at Bowral in the last two months.
Between Sunday 4 April 2015 and Tuesday 25 May 2015, graffiti was scratched and sprayed painted at Bowral Railway Station and at shops within the CBD.
The incidents were reported to The Hume Local Area Command and investigations were commenced.
Following a complex investigation, today at 9am (Wednesday 27 May 2015), a 17-year-old boy attended Bowral Police Station and was arrested.
He was charged with 14 counts of malicious damage and aggravated mark premises without consent.
The teen was given strict conditional bail conditions to appear at a children’s court on Wednesday 8 July 2015.
Inquiries are continuing and investigators are appealing for anyone with information that may assist, to contact Bowral Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
